Itinerary

<span> Day 1 </span> Arrival @ Cochin - Transfer to Munnar (via Athirapilly waterfalls)

Upon your arrival at the Gateway of Kerala – Cochin (Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station), you shall be met by our representative | driver present to greet and receive. Proceed to Athirapally Waterfall known as the “Niagara of India”, where the water gushes down from a height of 80 feet. The charm of Athirapally cannot be described by words - starting calmly from the high ranges and crashing through gorges overhung with trees, this is a place to capture a real sense of the classical idea of the ‘Picturesque” not just calm and sweet, but something wild and beautiful. The cool spray that covers a large area near the falls makes Athirapally a scenic location. Truly a sight to behold! Later, continue the journey to Munnar, a beautiful hill station known for its tea plantations and picturesque landscapes. Set at an altitude of 5000 to 8000 FT above sea level on the Western Ghats, Munnar is the premium hill station tourist destination in God’s own country. Upon arrival, check into your hotel | resort. Relax and unwind in the serene surroundings.

<span> Day 2 </span> Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, we embark on our exploration of Munnar! The sightseeing excursion will lead us to Matupetty Dam, an exquisite location offering breathtaking views of the scenic Munnar. We will then visit Kundala Lake, a natural lake that provides recreational activities such as boating, along with offering stunning views of the Western Ghats and the adjacent forest. Our journey will also include a visit to Eco Point and a delightful drive through the captivating tea plantations along the route. For those interested in nature, a visit to Eravikulam National Park is highly recommended, where the endangered Nilgiri Tahr is conserved. Please bear in mind that the park is generally closed for visitors from February to early April due to the calving season. The park operates from 8 AM to 4 PM, providing a unique opportunity to explore the natural beauty and conservation efforts within. Numerous optional activities are available for your indulgence at Munnar, including visits to tea factories, exhilarating jeep rides, and delightful elephant rides. Later, return to your Hotel | Resort

<span> Day 3 </span> Transfer: Munnar – Thekkady (110KM -3 Hour 15 Mins)

Post breakfast, we shall proceed to Thekkady, referred as the spice bag of Kerala. Thekkady is a wild life destination offering excellent mountain walks & trekking trails. Depending upon your interest and time availability you may indulge in the below optional activities. Have an amazing boat ride in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar tiger reserve. Here, you will have a chance to watch the wild animals like elephant, Bison, Sambar, Deer etc roaming the lake shore. The boating duration is approximately for 2 Hrs (7.30 AM – 3.30 PM). You may go for a spice plantation visit where cardamom, pepper, vanilla, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, ayurvedic herbs etc are grown. Explore the wild with an off-road Jungle border Jeep Safari adventure trip. The trip is approximately for 3 hours and can be taken any time after 5 AM but before late evening. No manual trekking is involved. Watch the famous Kathakali show which is one of the major classical dance forms of Kerala and also enjoy the mesmerizing Kalaripayattu show which showcases the martial art forms of Kerala. Rejuvenate yourself with a traditional Kerala Ayurvedic Massage. Later, return to your Hotel | Resort

<span> Day 4 </span> Transfer: Thekkady - Alappuzha (165KM -3 Hour 30 Mins)

Today, we will journey to Alleppey, often hailed as theRice Bowl of Kerala. Remarkably, it stands as the only location globally where paddy cultivation occurs below sea level. Also known as the Backwater Destination of India, its primary allure lies in its captivating tapestry of lagoons and canals it offers. The optimal way to immerse oneself in this scenic marvel is through a leisurely cruise, be it aboard the renowned Kerala Houseboats or by opting for a motorboat or shikara ride. Explore Alleppey's local market or take a leisurely walk around the town. If time permits, you may also visit the Alleppey Beach.

<span> Day 5 </span> Transfer Alappuzha - Kovalam (175KM -4 hour 15 Mins)

Post breakfast, check out of your Hotel | Resort | Houseboat and proceed toward Kovalam. Kovalam is the international beach destination of Kerala with three adjacent crescent beaches and truly captures the essence of Kerala. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. Upon arrival, check into your hotel | resort. Evening can be ideally be spent on the beach

<span> Day 6 </span> Trivandrum Sightseeing

Today morning, after breakfast, visit iconic spots which includes Napier Museum, Sri Chithira Art Gallery, Zoo, Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple and adjacent Palace etc. Post lunch depending upon time of your departure you may visit Poovar, a beach between the backwater and sea or alternatively relax at the beach. Note: Napier Museum, Zoo and the Srichitra Art Gallery are closed on Mondays. Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple opens at 3.30 in morning till noon and in the evening from 5 Pm to 7 PM. Timings are subject to change during festivals and other special occasions.

<span> Day 7 </span> Transfer Kovalam - Kanyakumari (90 KM -2 hour 30 Mins)

Today, we shall proceed to Kanyakumari the southernmost point of mainland India. It is situated at the confluence of three oceans namely the Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Kanyakumari is the only place on earth where one can see both the sunrise and sunset from the ocean and it is the only place in India where the unique spectacle of sunset and moonrise on full moon days can be witnessed. On the way to Kanyakumari, you can visit Poovar island. Visit the famous Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda rock which is situated in the sea (accessible by boat), the statue of Thiruvalluvar on the rock, Gandhi Memorial, wax museum etc. Note: In case of late arrivals at Kanyakumari, you may schedule some sightseeing for the next day morning.

<span> Day 8 </span>  Transfer Kanyakumari to Trivandrum (90 KM -2 hour 30 Mins)

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will pick you up and drive you to Trivandrum. Depending upon the time of your departure you shall be dropped at the airport / railway station at Trivandrum.

Packages with Deluxe category houseboats can be upgraded to premium or luxury category on payment of differential amount. All guests must carry a photo-identity with an address proof for check-in. Foreign nationals should present their Passport and valid visa. Houseboats Check-in time is at 12 noon, and check-out is at 9 AM the following day. Please plan your departure, considering travel time from your departing destination to the houseboat, and account for potential on-way contingencies. In Deluxe category Houseboat, A/C will be operational from 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M while in Premium & Luxury categories, AC will be available from check in to check out. Premium category houseboats feature partial glass coverage, while luxury category houseboats are fully glass covered. In compliance with government directions, houseboats are not permitted to cruise after evening hours. The standard menu on the houseboat is non-vegetarian. Please inform us at least 3 days in advance if you have different meal preferences.
